The Western Fest PRCA Rodeo will feature a kids event, all three nights, called Mutton Bustin’. This event allows 30 kids to sign up and ride a sheep for 6 seconds, each night of the rodeo! We pre-register all 30 kids in advance - we will not take additonal kids each night of the rodeos. Please note Moms & Dads: Please only pre-register your kid for one night - not all 3 nights. In an effort to have more kids experience this event, please only pre-register your child for 1 night.
All kids must weigh under 65# and must be older than 3 years old (and potty trained)- no exceptions. Prizes are awarded to all the children that register; 1st, 2nd and 3rd place trophies are awarded nightly.
What: Mutton Bustin’
When: All 3 nights of the rodeo, starting at 6:15pm nightly.
Where: Next to Secretary’s building on the southern end of the rodeo grounds, near the admission gate.
Time: 6:15 pm nightly; Gates open at 5:30pm nightly. Please arrive between 5:45-6pm.
Cost: $20 per child. Please note: you must have a paid admission to the rodeo, before you can enter and sign up for Mutton Bustin’. If your child is over 65#, no refunds will be given.
