JW Winklepleck
Rodeo Clown // Barrelman
JW grew up in a Rodeo family, His Dad, Ross Winklepleck was a PRCA Bareback Rider and later on, a Stock Contractor. JW went to the University of Wyoming on a Rodeo Scholarship and also rode Bareback Horses and competed in the College National Finals Rodeo 2 times. He went on to help his Dad with the Stock Contracting Business, using his skills to fight bulls, then to “Entertain” the crowd to make time for loading stock for their rodeos. He then became a PRCA Bareback Rider and Rodeo Clown/Barrelman. He enjoyed entertaining the crowds and since he had the knowledge of Producing a Rodeo-He became one of the leading Rodeo Clowns/Barrelmen in the PRCA. He has been the Rodeo Clown/Barrelman at the PRCA Mountain States Circuit Finals 13 times, as well as the PRCA Wilderness Circuit Finals a few times. He has also worked the College National Finals Rodeo, Cheyenne Frontier Days, Greeley Stampede, and various other Rodeos just to name a few. He lives in Strasburg, Colorado with his wife, Brenda Winklepleck.
